Maudy DW

One of the original founding members and not one to turn down a cold brew. My acronym goes back several years to a weekend trip to New York with HDW, Debra as well QBDW and his wife Millie. While walking in Macy’s, a dude in front of us, suddenly grabbed his cell phone (no ringing) and started talking very loud, (heavy on the NY accent), Morty, Morty I can’t hear you Morty I’ll have to call you back. You had to be there. Anyway, HDW and I have teased each other with the name over the years and somehow it’s morphed into Maudy and stuck to me.

Over the years my wife (Lady Boo DW) and I have spent many memorable occasions with Debra and HDW. I have known many of my fellow DW’s since our earlier years and we have been known to still get together for an occasional game of spades. Playing golf and jovial comradery for the cause of raising money to eradicate breast cancer in memory of Debra, what’s more to like.
